In this project we review the process of developing an online resource to assess and report risk at all stages of the food production process. Deploying a safety system online enforces a safety process and mitigates risk if properly implemented.




For the most part modern food production is made up of many locations, steps, processes and interventions. Assumed risk mitigation is prevalent in many cases and reliance of internal processes to ensure safety is assumed to be the gold standard, however risk is dynamic and will change at all stages of the process and distribution system. Risk from suppliers under financial pressure, risk from supplier logistics operataing their vehicles at temperatures to save fuel, short shelf life products sufferring temperature abuse
